Rev. Dr. Jacqueline J. Lewis says, “I am convinced that the strongest defense against the virulent racial/ethnic tensions in our nation is the development of multiracial, multicultural communities of faith.” First Unitarian is blessed with a multi-ethnic and multi-racial congregation, and is working to become a more culturally diverse congregation in our practices. Our Minister shares his optimism about our work to be a whole people on a journey together—toward transformation.
