Rev. Galen Guengerich is Senior Minister of the Unitarian Church of All Souls in New York City and will address the Unitarian Universalist congregations of greater Baltimore in our annual commemoration of the preaching by Rev. William Ellery Channing of "Unitarian Christianity" in May 1819. The First Unitarian Church of Baltimore is located at the corner of Charles and Franklin Streets. in downtown Baltimore. The Jewish New Year begins with a declaration of something brand new amid the ancient patterns of nature and community life. Before the new year may be fully embraced, a day of fasting and atonement asks for a consideration of the effects of personal and communal living. We begin again with prayer and music adapted for a Unitarian Universalist sensibility.

Oscar Sinclair July 8, 2012 As we make choices in our lives, we each discern our own sense of vocation--what, if anything, we are called to do and be. Oscar Sinclair, a Peace Corps volunteer and Master's degree recipient from the Shriver Center, will enter Wesley Seminary in Washington, D.C. this fall to begin the process of becoming an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister. First Unitarian Church of Baltimore is located at the corner of Charles and Franklin Streets in downtown Baltimore.
