We come together out of our longing for oneness with all that is—ourselves, others, the universe itself, some would say with God. Can we imagine ourselves as the “lone, wild bird” of our song, soaring high and far, yet always at one with the spirit of love that joins all life? The church then is where we grow ever more fully into that spirit and stretch our vision of what it asks of us.

Diana K. Davies, Ministerial Intern

In the end, we are our stories, and listening - really listening -  to the stories of others is a sacred act of love. This inter-generational service will celebrate the way we learn to tell our own stories by listening to others.

Unitarian Universalists, a people of faith, live out our faith by loving the world and its inhabitants, in their beauty and imperfection. But does the world really need saving? This Sunday, we’ll explore how our faith calls us to name and respond to the brokenness and blessings in our world and our selves.
