Our congregation has a unique voice in our Association’s conversation and our Minister will explore the themes raised by the book in the context of our commitment to work on issues of poverty and homelessness.

Few actors go onstage without knowing where their characters hope to go, even as the action of the play puts obstacles in their paths. What might a church do to prepare for the action it hopes to accomplish in the world??

You know the old joke: what is a group of five Unitarian Universalists but a place for ten opinions. The free and responsible search for truth and meaning takes each of us on a quest for our own truth, a search that allows each of us to make certain conclusions—even provisional “conclusions”—about our own lives. How do we search for meaning together as a church?
